This year, Mongolian Academy of Sciences and Russian Academy of Sciences have been jointly celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Joint Research Project-Expedition on Paleontology and Biology in between two science academies.
To attend the anniversary conference, President of Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician A. M. Sergeev and other delegations from Russian Academy of Sciences have arrived MAS yesterday.
The joint research expedition was first established on August 5, 1968 and joint research was started starting from 1969. So far, MAS and RAS joint research project has produced 48 series of scientific publication books, 10 scientific monographs and over 1500 research papers and publications in international scientific journals. Besides, joint collaborative works have been produced eight Doctor of Science (D.Sc) and 29 Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D).
During conference, Academician D. Regdel, President of MAS and Academician A. M. Sergeev, President of RAS have singed on the newly extended Memorandum of Understanding to further expand the scientific collaborations of two academies.
