The President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh U., announced during
the 76th session of the UN General Assembly that he would launch a billion tree
planting movement in his country. In this context, a decree was issued to
launch the “Billion Tree” national movement.
As part of the tree planting movement, government and NGO
representatives planted trees in four locations.
Scientists and researchers have joined the
national movement to plant the "Billion Tree" and representatives from
the institutes of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences have planted 150 trees in
the Bayangol Agro Park.
