Yesterday was the historic day of the establishment of the
Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
On this day 60 years ago, May 16, 1961, the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Great People's Khural of the Mongolian People's Republic.
The decree was signed by the chairman of the Great People's Khural of the Mongolian People's Republic Sambuu Jamsran, deputy director Baldzhinnyam and members Byambadorj J., Damdinsuren Sh., Udval S., Yadamsuren D.
