On “World water day”- March 22, Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) and Ulaanbaatar city office for water management have organized a symposium under the theme “Climate change –Water management”.
In the opening speech, D. Regdel, a President of MAS, has noted the current urgent necessity of the improved water usage in Mongolia, especially in the cities. He mentioned the example of an efficient water usage in England where since 2012 people have been using a water in bottles for watering the garden.
In the symposium, five speakers including from the Institute of Geography and Geoecology; Ulaanbaatar city office for water management; Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Light Industry; Ministry of Environment and Tourism and National Center for Health Services have presented their works to the participants from various organizations such as government, research institutes and centers.
