“The 100th Anniversary of Modern Science” stamp was unveiled
on December 24, 2021.
This stamp was created by the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of History and Ethnology and “Mongol Post” LLC for the 100th anniversary of the establishment and development of modern scientific organizations in Mongolia.
Historically, the Institute of Scripture was established by a resolution of the People's Government on November 19, 1921, establishing the Central Organization of Modern Science in Mongolia. Later, in 1930, it expanded into the Institute of Science, and in 1956, the Institute of Higher Education in Science, and in 1961, the Academy of Sciences was established.

The main part of the block stamp "100 years of modern science" depicts the first director of the Institute of Scripture, Jamiyan Gun Onkhud and the first president of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences Shirendev Bazar, and the first building of the Institute of Scripture. The section for decorating blocks presents the main scientific achievements over a 100-year history.
