The book “Mongolian terminology: tradition and innovation” was unveiled

During the conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Adiya Oidov, Doctor of Linguistics (Sc.D), three main presentations on the life and work of Professor O. Adiya were discussed. These include:


1. E. Purevjav, Ph.D, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Linguistics of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian  Academy of Sciences. "Adiya Oidov, Mongolian terminologist"


2. O.Shinebayar  Ph.D, Associate Professor, Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. "Developer of a 'new branch' of linguistics"


3. G.Gerelmaa, Ph.D, Associate Professor, Department of Applied Linguistics, Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. "Scientist who developed Mongolian terminology"


During the conference, the book "Mongolian Terminology: Tradition and Innovation" was unveiled, which included about thirty articles on terminology, state policy in relation to language, dictionaries and the theory and practice of translation from dozens of works written by O. Adiya over the past 40 years.
