A Mongolia-China joint research laboratory, "Laboratory of Mineral Processing", has today established in the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
The joint laboratory is established with the financial support from the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of China and in the lab, the scientists and researchers from Metallurgical Institute of Hohhot will be working in collaboration with the scientists from the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. The laboratory is equipped with a full range of tools and equipment's for the processing from the crushing of ore to various types of enrichment and leaching technologies. Therefore, the laboratory provides the opportunity to perform the complete processing studies of mineral raw materials such as gold, silver, copper, iron, rare earth and coal.
In the opening ceremony of the joint laboratory, the representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the People's Republic of China, Inner Mongolian Department for Science and Technology, Metallurgical Institute of Hohhot, and the representatives from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports and the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.
