“In the era of globalization, economic science is enriched with new theories and trends, therefore, there is a need to properly interpret it in Mongolian in terms of terminology and concepts that covers a wide range of social life and all aspects of relations.

Based on the needs of the time, this dictionary provides a systematic explanation of the origin, definition, meaning, classification and the influence of economic terms and phrases, as well as pictures, diagrams, tables, mathematical equations and formulations. In addition, economics include all types of money, finance, budget, taxes, customs, foreign trade, loans and grants, investments. So on, real estate, prices,  stock markets, accounting, management and marketing. The dictionary keeps important assignment to guideline of all those systematic understanding of the concept” said D. Regdel, President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, in the introduction to the book.

There are many textbooks, dictionaries and manuals related to market economy in Mongolia, but a unified understanding of modern economics has not yet been formed.

Developed foreign countries provide the public with systematic information on economic theory and methodology through the publication and dissemination of comprehensive economic dictionaries. By this standard, the glossary includes key terms and basic concepts related to the history and features of Mongolia's national economic development.

Foreign economic dictionaries are difficult to translate and use due to the different economic content and structure of each country. Therefore, this dictionary has become important because economists have developed a dictionary that reflects the specifics of their country.

This book is intended for university students, teachers, masters, doctoral students, researchers, government and journalism professionals, entrepreneurs and anyone interested in economics.
