The 12-volume book “Enkhtuvshin Batbold” was unveiled

A 12-volume book covering the research work of Enkhtuvshin B., an honored scientist and academician of Mongolia, was unveiled.

The conference was initiated by the wife and children of Enkhtuvshin B. to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of a modern scientific organization and the Institute of Sacred Scripture in Mongolia and the 60th anniversary of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) with the support of the staff of the MAS.

Bulgan E., the son of academician Enkhtuvshin B., said, “This book conference is the culmination of our desire for children to collect and distribute their father's work, as well as the sincere desire of our researchers and friends who worked with my father to pass on his work to future generations. This work includes all the manuscripts written by my father that have not yet been made public, rare photographs that have never been published before, and the memoirs of researchers and friends. In other words, the 12-volume book was written and created by the best scientists in each field, including education, statistics, economics, science, and civil studies.”

Regdel D., President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, said, “I am glad that a series of works by my close friend Enkhtuvshin B., who has worked together for many years in science, is being published. Enkhtuvshin devoted half of his career in the field of science and education to higher education and half to the governing of the academy. I want to emphasize that, he was Vice President and President of the Academy for 20 years and worked in difficult times. In particular, the years that have passed since he was elected president of the Academy for the second time have been very difficult in the life of science and in the field of science in Mongolia. The members of our academy are grateful that he worked tirelessly for our academy during these difficult years. This 12-volume book covers not only personal life and work, but also the history of Mongolia's education and science sector over the past 30 years. Many thanks to the friends, academics, and family who created this book.
