A memorandum of understanding between the Mongolian Academy
of Sciences and “Tavan Tolgoi Railway” LLC signed today by the President of the
Academy of Sciences Regdel D. and the Executive Director of “Tavan Tolgoi
Railway” LLC Udaanjargal N.
The purpose of this memorandum is to cooperate in the field of research and development at a professional level and contribute to the development of Mongolia.
Within the framework of cooperation, the parties will develop a special plan according to which they will work, and in the initial stage, the necessary research work will be carried out for the further stages of construction and development of the Tavan Tolgoi-Gashuunsuhait and Bogdkhan railways. The parties will also work together to reduce sand movement, reduce desertification, promote natural regeneration, reduce the impact of wildlife along the road, and strengthen the human resources of Tavan-Tolgoi Railway LLC.
