In
January 2019, the delegates from Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), D. Regdel,
a President of MAS, and B. Avid, a Secretary General of MAS, had visited Erdenet
city and Erdenet Mining Factory and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU)
to start the collaborative research investigations on solving some issues
related to white dust, sulfur gas and air pollution in Erdenet city.
Following
up the scheduled cooperative works, the delegates from Erdenet Mining Factory
have visited MAS and met President D. Regdel. Delegates have also visited several
institutes including Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, Institute of
Physics and Technology, Institute of General and Experimental Biology and
Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology and listened to introduction
seminars and talks about their research activities from the researchers in the
institutes.
