A conference was held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment and development of modern science in Mongolia /November 27, 2021/. In November 1921, the People's Government submitted a letter of intent to the Bogd Khan to establish the Institute of Scripture, and appointed Jamiyan S. as the director of the institute, laying the foundation for a modern scientific organization in our country.
Over the past 100 years, the Mongols flew into space,
assembled and manufactured personal computers, exported them and developed new
theoretical results in experiments in high energy physics, established that
ancient people began to live in Mongolia 800,000 years ago, and that the
Mongolian ethnic group formed at the end of the Bronze Age and also
investigated archaeological finds of 2500 years ago, Mongolia's biodiversity,
ecosystems and biological resources, contributing to the improvement of the
living standards of people and the development of the country.
During the "Science-100" commemorative event, a photo exhibition, showing the historical events of researchers, an exhibition of the latest results of research and an exhibition of the Virtual Museum was organized by the institutes and scientists of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
