The Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Erdenet Mining Corporation and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday to approve a partnership development program of “Research, training, innovation and production cooperation engagement to a new level”.
The purpose of this program is to forward an engagement research, training and innovation cooperation between the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Erdenet Mining Corporation and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology a progressive level. Further develop a medium and long-term strategic planning along partnerships.

A working group of the three organizations plotted following six sets of tasks:
1. To update the curriculum of capacity building programs those meet with human resource capacity requirements, educate new professionals, organize vocational trainings to strengthen future generations;
2. To develop R&D, innovations and technologies in the field of geology, enrichment and production process in the Minings, and to advance research of those innovations in the framework of Mongolia's economic resource diversification policy;
3. Research and development in the field of environment friendly waste management of the chemical industries;
4. Research and development on energy supply and energy saving;
5. Research and development of management of large data and information systems intense of digital technology;
6. Within the framework of social
responsibility, research on human resource management and organization`s
culture research of the Erdenet Mining Corporation, based on the Mongolian
Academy of Science`s fundamental research involvements.
