The Institute of Scripture, the first scientific
organization in Mongolia, was first established on November 9, 1921 by a
resolution of the People's Government, and approved on November 22, 1924 by a
decree of the Bogd Khan.
This historic decision laid the foundation for the development of science in Mongolia, and over the past 100 years it has expanded into the Institute of Science, the Institute of Science of the People's Republic of Mongolia, and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment and development of modern scientific organizations in Mongolia, the Academy of Sciences established a team of authors led by historian and academician Chuluun S. to create a five-volume “HISTORY OF SCIENCE OF MONGOLIA” according to a specific plan and concept. The book was unveiled during the "Science 100" honoring event /November 27, 2021/.
During the opening ceremony, Academician Chuluunbaatar G. made a detailed presentation of the book and handed over a sample of the book to the authors of the book and representatives of universities.
These five volumes contain photographs, real facts, and information about the history of the Mongolian science from the beginning and development of the Institute of Scripture, the first central organization to organize scientific work in Mongolia in 1921-1930, and facts about prominent figures and scientists.
