June 21-23, the international conference themed “Buddhist
heritage and values from XXI century” has organized at Ulaanbaatar city. On the
opening remarks, Academician G.Chuluunbaatar, The First Vice President of MAS,
Arvinda Gupta, President of the Vivekanda Fund of India, Gevsh Janjiv Choidan,
Secretary General of International Buddhist Association have delivered the
congratulatory speeches for the conference.
The conference was taken place at temple “Battsagaan” at Gandan Monastery, a center of Mongolian Buddhism by co-organized with MAS, National University of Mongolia and Mongolian University of Science and Technology. During two days of conference, the participants from Buryat, Russia, Tuva, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Japan, Laos and Cambodia have presented and discussed their researches on Buddhist heritages and its values.
