The Association of Veterans of the Mongolian Academy of
Sciences has a tradition of honoring one person a year in their “Honorary
Book”. This year, the award was given to Dr. Shatar S.
Shatar S. is a science educator and one of the scientists who initiated and organized the creation of an independent Institute of Chemistry in Mongolia. He is praised for his many years of relentless work for science and for his knowledge and skills.
More than 100 works by Shatar S. have been registered in the international database, and more than 60 of his works have been cited by foreign scholars. He is a researcher who has successfully developed and researched more than 230 technical and technological works based on the basics of the essential oil and perfume industry.
