The Government of Mongolia's invitation to support the Chinese people in their combating a new type of coronavirus infection was gratefully supported by the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
Today, on March 4, the President of MAS, academician D.Regdel met with Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia Mr. Chen Shuang and handed over him the MAS donation worth, 24 669 851 MNT, one-day salary of MAS employees.
At the meeting, President of MAS D.Regdel noted that MAS has been collaborating with the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 1950, and we have therefore gratefully accepted our Government invitation and giving this donation to you. The Cultural Counselor mentioned that Mongolians have been kindly making donations everyday, and all these donations will be used to bring the assistance to where it is most needed. Mr. Chen Shuang has also presented a Gratitude Certificate to President D.Regdel and the Director of Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, academician S.Demberel.
