The President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences said, “Hungary is one of the countries in Europe that has good relations with us in the field of science. Hungary has made a significant contribution to the development of human resources and capacity of the MAS. The MAS cooperates with Hungary in many fields, including agriculture, history and archeology. Hungary is developing molecular biology and genetics very strong. The pinnacle of the 21st century has become the direction of this molecular biology. I would like the Ambassador to pay attention to training people in this field. It is very important for Mongolia to make one more step in the scientific relations between Mongolia and Hungary for these four years.
Ambassadors need to pay special attention to the development of science and technology and regularly submit proposals to the government on this matter. Of course, it is important to consider the political relationship. After that, it is important to introduce modern technologies and innovations into Mongolia. The introduction of technology and innovation will become a reality only through increased scientific cooperation.”
Academician Demberel Sh. was present at the meeting and briefed Ambassador Baatarjav S. on agricultural cooperation between the two countries. In the future, we will expand the traditional cooperation between Hungarian and Mongolian scientists and research institutes to train high-level personnel in Hungarian universities, train veterinarians and specialists in the framework of renovating the Biocombinat, conduct joint research on some breeds of cattle and sheep. There is an opportunity to supply lamb to Hungary.
In conclusion, Ambassador Baatarjav S. said that, within the framework of his right, he would expand scientific cooperation between the two countries.
