A festive meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Institute of Sacred Scripture and the 60th anniversary of the Institute of History and Ethnography was held in Mongolia. The event, which was held at the Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, was attended by historians, leaders of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and scientists of our generation. President Khurelsukh U. and Minister of Education and Science Enkh-Amgalan L. congratulated scientists and researchers who have devoted their creative potential to the development of historical science in Mongolia.
At the event, greetings from foreign partners were read, including congratulations from the director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.K. Alikberov and Director of the Institute of Mongolian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences B.V. Bazarov.
PhD, Associate Professor Tserendorj Ts., Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, in his report “A hotbed of Mongolian history-100 Years” gave a detailed overview of the history of Mongolia and the current trends in historical studies.
Tserendorj Ts. said that based on the results of the last 20 years of research by scientists from the Institute of History and Ethnography, they plan to create a new book of Mongolian history in one or more volumes. He told his colleagues that he plans to carry out not only political history, but also major works on the history of Mongolian society, economy and people's lives in detail, as well as to carry out specific activities to educate the people and disseminate accurate historical knowledge.

During the anniversary event, memorabilia was paid tribute to the historians and their families who led the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
