The Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, MAS has today organized the "Open Day" for the 150th Anniversary of the Mendeleev Periodic System.
During Open Day activities, the teachers and students of Bayanzurkh district were listened to the seminar on chemical waste management and received the related book manuals. In addition, Director of Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology Dr. L. Jargalsaikhan introduced about the activities of research laboratories in the institute. During the seminar, the researchers also taught the students to create a song to help them memorize the Mendeleev system elements.
On this day, the students were visited the laboratories and performed some interesting experiments on chemistry such as the tests on water in Materials Science and Technology lab and the experiments on carbohydrates in food products in Biochemistry lab.

The institute has also opened the exhibition on innovative products prepared by their scientists and the researches.
