In this week, 4th international symposium focused on “Mongolian cultural heritages: collection of hand writings and archive documents” has been organized at Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS).
Since 2013, the symposium has been organized in Saint Petersburg, Russia and Ulaanbaatar biannually with the purpose of studying and collecting the Mongolian cultural heritages kept in archives of different countries. In addition, the symposium aims to introduce Mongolian heritages at international level by working together with scientists and experts from over the world.
4th international symposium was focused on the studies of Mongolian cultural heritages kept in Mongolia, Russia, China and Japan. In the opening speech, D. Regdel, President of MAS, has mentioned that the numbers of international scientist for studying Mongolian culture and heritages are being increased over the years as becoming a complete research army, and it has reflected with the increase of the international participants in this symposium.
In this symposium, organized by Institute of History and Archeology with the support of The President of Mongolia, the speakers and scientists from 20 different countries were delivered their research works on Mongolian rare cultural heritages.
