Institute of Language and Linguistics (ILL), Mongolian Academy of Sciences, have organized an international symposium focused on “Creating a unified database for Mongolian language” together with Center for Mongolian Studies and University of Foreign Studies of Tokyo at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In the symposium, scientists from Mongolia, Japan, China and Russia have gathered to discuss the nature, use of Mongolian language and creation of a unified database for Mongolian language.
Scientific secretary of ILL, Dr. Ts. Batdorj said that Mongolian language is being used as an official language in Inner Mongolia, China and Buryat, Russia in addition to our country.
However, in scientific terms and communications including medicine and biology, the Mongolian language is not being used uniformly. This symposium provides an opportunity discuss the scientists from four different countries for solving the use of a unified Mongolian language.
The symposium will be continued until August 17, 2019.
