Academician T. Gan-Erdene has received the Friendship Award by the Chinese Government

Senior Scientist of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, MAS Academician T. Gan-Erdene was named one of the winners of "Friendship Award" by the Chinese government on the 70th anniversary of the establishment of China in 2019.  He has recently received the Award in China.
The Friendship Award is the highest award for "foreign experts who have contributed significantly to China's economic, social, scientific development and foreign cooperation".  This award was originally created in 1950s and the Prime Minister of China was handed the award to the Soviet Union and Eastern European experts.

This year, for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of China, in the awarding ceremony of Friendship Award, the Premier Li Kequang and Vice-Premier Han Zheng have attended the ceremony and congratulated the experts. The Award was given to 100 foreign experts including the Professor of the University of Chicago, Nobel laureate James J. Heckman and the Director of Metagproject on International Atomic Energy and Engineering in France Dr. Bernard Betot, from 31 countries including the United States, England, France, Germany, Russia, Japan, France and Australia.
Academician T.Gan-Erdene is the first person who received this award from Mongolia.
