The Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences, in
cooperation with the Department of Culture and Arts of the capital, has
launched the project "Archaeological research of the tombs of the Huns
aristocrats of the Belkh valley", which was opened on June 30, 2021.
The opening was attended by the First
Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia G. Chuluunbaatar,
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Mongolia B.
Obrusanszky, Director of the Department of Culture and Art of the capital J.
Damdintseren, Director of the Department of Tourism of the capital A.
Ariungerel, Director of the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences
of Mongolia, Doctor , associate professor G. Eregzen, scientific secretary Dr.
N. Erdene-Ochir, as well as representatives of the management and personnel of
the organization supporting and jointly implementing this project.
