Next year will be a centennial anniversary of the
establishment of modern scientific organization in Mongolia and the 60th
anniversary of establishment of Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
The Presidium of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences met today
to discuss and approve number of issues related to centennial anniversary
celebration in 2021.
At
the meeting, members agreed that a decision should be made at the government
level to celebrate the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment
of the first science organization “Committee of Letters” and the 60th
anniversary of foundation of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and to compilethe modern
science development in Mongolia.
And
they emphasized celebrating the anniversary is not just a celebration of 100
years of history, but also it is commemoration of Mongolian science heritage
and its foundation starting from the history of Mongolian Empire.
As
part of anniversary commemoration a five- volume and 100 years of history book
will be published.
Books will
demonstrate the beginning of the modern science from there to now with progress
steps of all developments with international and national cooperation as well
as its status now and contributions of all time enlightens to the society.
