The
Association of Elderly People of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences has a tradition
of honoring a person of a year to the “Honorary Book”. The honor of the year has
been awarded to Mr. Radnaabazar. Ch. He had worked for the Mongolian Academy of
Sciences since 1985 and served as a deputy director of the Mongolian-Russian
joint expeditions and a director of the Finance and Logistics Department of Institutes
of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
He
is being honored for his contribution to set up logistic managements in the
research institutes, establishment and stabilize operation of the Association
of Elderly People of MAS.
Therefore Mr. Ch.Radnaabazar is a honored veteran who took vision of a Chairman of the Association of Elderly People of MAS for 20 consecutive years from 1990 to 2018. During this time, he has advised to establish the association of elderly people in the MAS by developing registering system and stabilized its activity as well as put the liaison of senior and young scientists.
During
this time, many activities were organized, such as registering elders,
establishing councils of elders in institutes, focusing on streamlining
activities, and organizing associations of senior and young scholars and
celebrating the honor of senior scholars.
He
also participated in a working group to draft the Elder`s Law and made a number
of proposals for the government to pay attention to the elderly people.
