This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment and development of modern scientific organizations in Mongolia and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Within the framework of the anniversary, the Mongolian Academy of Sciences has published a five-volume history of Mongolian science.

The Institute of Scripture, the first scientific
organization in Mongolia, was established on November 9, 1921 by the decision
of the People's Government and approved by the decree of the Bogd Khan on
November 22, 1921. This historic decision laid the foundation for the
development of science in Mongolia, and over the past 100 years, it has
expanded into the Institute of Science, the Institute of Science of the
People's Republic of Mongolia, and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. At
present, a whole system of science and technology centralized at the MAS and
meeting international standards is being developed.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the creation and development of modern scientific organizations in Mongolia, on behalf of the President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, the MAS organized a team of authors under the leadership of the historian and academician Chuluun S., which is worked according to a specific plan and concept and published a five-volume "HISTORY OF SCIENCE OF MONGOLIA".
The five-volume “HISTORY OF SCIENCE OF MONGOLIA” will be officially presented to the public during the “Science-100” honorary conference to be held next Saturday.
